    watching what we say

Ever thought about how your heart is shown to others when you use bad language or put someone down?
What we say can really effect people.
"Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the stomach and is expelled? But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this defiles a person."- Mark 15:17-18
wikipedia's definition for profanity is "Profanity is a show of disrespect, or a desecration or debasement of someone or something. Profanity can take the form of words, expressions, gestures, or other social behaviors that are socially constructed or interpreted as insultingrudevulgar, desecrating, or other forms.[1]
The original meaning of the adjective profane (Latin: "in front of", "outside the temple") referred to items not belonging to the church, "
We all are exposed to cussing or bullying every day whether at school or at work. Very much so in High School. But what those people don't seem to take into consideration is the effect that will have on the person's life, it could cause them to make bad choices to fit in,or even hurt themselves
What are some ways to stay away from those two terrible paths?
-hang out with people who also don't cuss or bully
-don't use language you couldn't use in front of your Pastor
-Think of the effects it could have on that person (bullying)
    - And put yourself in their position what if some one was treating you like that? how would you feel? would it help you or hurt you?
"Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear."- Ephesians 4:29
Thanks for reading the blog! You can email us any topics you would like to be discussed.
